Having heard over the weekend that the GSM version of the Motorola DROID – the Motorola MILESTONE – would be landing in Europe later this month on carrier O2, Mobile-Review’s always-on-the-inside Eldar Murtazin has pushed out a video of the handset in action.

While we already knew that November 10th was the magic day when UK would-be Apple iPhone 3GS buyers would have a choice of not just O2 but also Orange as their network, until today we didn’t know exactly what they’d have to pay.

Apologies for the headline, but it was too appropriate to resist. It seems that there is a feature of uTorrent 2.0 now in beta that automatically detects network congestion and self-limits bandwidth to lessen it.

The US is apparently celebrating Sandwich Day today. While this seems utterly ridiculous to me, it’s on the widget so it must be true. I think I shall make myself a fried egg, bacon and cheese sandwich as soon as I get done with this post for my part in the celebration.
