If you’ve installed OS X onto laptop with an Intel Atom processor, do not update your version of Snow Leopard until further notice. Rumor has it that Apple has removed Atom support from 10.6.2. This means your Hackintosh will fail unless you mess around with the kernel.

Bell today confirmed that its promised HSPA+ 3G network will become available on November 4th. Supporting recent leaks, the 21Mbps network will launch just a day ahead of its Telus equivalent and should come with multiple phones and modems ready on the same day.

Mac OS X Leopard 10.6.2 will break your hackintosh. The forthcoming OS update will not run on the Intel Atom processor, a rather petty move from Apple which, if true, will break many netbooks which have been hacked to run as more than passable Macs.

NEC have announced a new projector named the NEC NP610. It falls in to the entry-level category but has a fairly bright projection of 3500 lumens making it work well in conference halls and class rooms. For connectivity it supports DVI-I, VGA, 3 audio inputs and variable audio out.
