New Seiko Ananta launches, looks sharp

Seiko’s coveted Spring Drive movement has previously only been available in Japan, however the new Ananta line will be release in the U.S. this November. The Ananta is a mechanical watch, hand-assembled in Japan, and inspired by the ancient weapon of the Samurai warrior; the katana.

NTT, Japan’s biggest telecommunications company (its subsidiary NTT East, to be more exact) has unveiled the Hikari iFrame [JP] yesterday, an Android-powered tablet PC that’s supposed to be extra-easy to use and doubles as a digital picture frame.

This crazy-looking dress, created by two designers in London for the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago, is made of silk chiffon and 24,000 full color LEDs. It's called the Galaxy Dress. It runs on tiny iPod batteries woven into the fabric so no one part becomes extra-bulky or heavy.
