I haven’t played through all of Super Mario Galaxy, but what I did play was pretty forgiving. Compare that to the punishing, yet rewarding, difficulty curve of the original games or newer games like Demon’s Souls — it’s like comparing a sprint to a ramble.

A few weeks ago the XPERIA X10 was announced and at that time it was reported as being a bit sluggish in menu transitions and responsiveness in general. It seems like the new phone has had a firmware update though that has fixed all the problems.

Microsoft have confirmed that a vulnerability now exists in Windows 7 that was officially launched just last month. The fix is quite easy in that you just need to block a couple of ports on your firewall to prevent an exploit of the Server Message Block (SMB).

Apple has won an important round of its legal battle against Psystar, a Florida-based startup that has been selling Mac clones for over a year. U.S. District Judge William Alsup ruled late last Friday that by selling PCs hacked to run Mac OS X, Psystar has violated Apple’s copyrights.
