The global economy is still not back to where it was a few years ago after the global recession. Things are starting to look better though with signs of increased consumer spending. The CPU market grew last quarter and the sale of computers is finally starting to increase again.

As of today the Motorola Milestone, which is the UK version of the Motorola Droid is now available in the UK. The Motorola Milestone is being sold exclusively through Expansys in the UK, and it is available in a Sim free version, and on a monthly contract with T-Mobile.

3M has recently announced  they have now created a ‘Mobile Interactive Solutions Division’ which will focus on designing projectors and integrating them in mobile phones, in addition to their current range of projectors both battery and mains powered.

One of the things I don’t like about my GPS device is that I have to connect it to my windshield. My car has a very steep windshield, which means the GPS is further from me than I would really like it to be.

I spend lots of time in front of the computer so years ago I purchased a massive 30-inch Dell monitor. This thing lets me get several pages up side by side and rocks for high resolution gaming at 2560 x 1600.

JVC has added a new camcorder to its range wit the launch of the JVC Everio GZ-HD620 HD Camcorder. According to JVC, the Everio GZ-HD620 is the world’s lightest and smallest HD camcorder with a built in HDD, and it weighs a tiny 270g and measures 53mm by 63mm by 115mm.

There are gobs of Bluetooth headsets for drivers and there are more than a few for motorcyclists as well. For some reason talking on the phone while riding a motorcycle seems more dangerous to me than driving and talking.

Boxee have announced the new beta of their media center software.  Among the changes include a new homepage, with clearer menu options together with a recommendations pane showing suggestions from Twitter and Facebook, improved handling of files with live searching, and filtering by genre and cost.
