Out of the 6000 plus fans of the Tom’s Hardware Facebook page, 94% are probably males (this according to the page’s admin, who I know personally). That’s no surprise, but I’d still like to see more women getting into computer hardware.

A couple of weeks ago we reported that Google Maps Navigation had been modified so that it could work in Europe as well as the rest of the world where available. Google officially have it restricted to just the USA.

Korean PC manufacturer Ripple has added a stylish mini PC to their range with the launch of the Ripple Look. The Ripple Look will go on sale in Korea later this month and it features an Intel Dual Core processor, an Intel GMA X4500 graphics chipset and a 2.5 inch hard drive.

A very interesting RMAF debut that I initially overlooked is a new $5995 integrated amplifier from Audio Research. The DSi200 integrated is the first product in ARC's new Definition range, but what really makes it stand out is the circuitry. Audio Research describes it as a "solid-state hybrid".
