Sunfire Atmos Subwoofer For Home Theater

Sunfire has unveiled a small subwoofer for home theater, which is claimed to be the most powerful subwoofer in its class. The little sub enclosure has a 6.5-inch woofer that is paired with a special design to allow 1.5-inch of excursion for deeper bass.

According to macstories, the iPad's App Store app just gained a very useful new feature: search filters. There are now five different filters you can assign to app searches: Category, Release Date, Customer Rating, Price, and Device. Popovers allow users to adjust or clear filters.

Apple and Verizon on Thursday night have already run out of iPhone pre-orders for existing subscribers and have run an ad using one of Verizon’s most familiar TV icons. Both the Apple Store and Verizon’s store now show the CDMA iPhone as no longer available.

Another Apple store is slated to open outside Sydney Australia, according to a report from ifoapplestore. Construction crews are reportedly on site in Westfield Penrith (Penrith Plaza) for a store that will open in November 2011.

A leaked MeeGo bug report has revealed that a new flagship smartphone from Nokia is being developed. Gleaned from the code, the specs of the phone would include a 1.6GHz processor from Intel, 854x480-resolution display and support for 21Mbps HSPA+ networks as well as NFC short-range wireless.

Ashley Mitchell, a 29 year old IT business man plead guilty yesterday to stealing 400 billion Zynga poker chips. Though these were virtual chips, they are worth real money, about $12 million. Mitchell was able to sell about a third of them for £53,000 ($86,000).
