LG 2.6mm Thin TV Revealed – Worlds Thinnest

LG have introduced their latest LCD TV that measures just 2.6mm in thickness. The TV measures 42 inches and is capable of full HD content (1080p) with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The TV is 50% thinner than the previous LG slim model and has an LED backlight system to light the image.

Vodafone have announced details of the Apple iPhone that will be coming to their network in the UK shortly. The iPhone will be made available on January 14th 2010. Three iPhones are being made available on the network which includes the iPhone 3G as well as two iPhone 3G S models (16GB and 32GB).

I have never really had a problem getting out of bed. The Alarm clock wakes me up just fine on low volume settings. I have known some people though who could sleep through a freight train rolling by. For the heavy sleeper a normal alarm may not cut it.

Most of the HDTVS on the market today are attractive devices that are fairly thin. Many people like to get an entertainment center that is just large enough for the TV to save room. That means there is little room left behind for speakers on the entertainment center.

Fujitsu Lifebook UH900 which was is scheduled to get January 2010 release date for Asia-Pacific market only but looks like you won’t waiting for it. Two reason, one is its $1,415 price tag and two is its two hours battery life although Fujitsu claim it can last for three hours in ECO mode.

Intel this morning finally began delivering Atom processors based on its Pine Trail platform. The chips are the first Atoms to be built on a 45 nanometer process and use about 20 percent less power on netbook-class processors and 50 percent less power on nettops.

Laptop hard drives have to be small.  The form factor dictates it. Now Seagate pushes the envelope with a 7mm drive – shaving around 2.5mm off of the thickness of the drive.  What’s next, paper thin? Though it does spin at 5400rpm, it does maintain very good storage ratios.

JBL has come out with the JBL Control Now Bookshelf/Wall Mount Speaker and they have “cornered” the market.  Okay, bad joke.  But the JBL speakers are very well suited for corner mounting.  And Homer Simpson would love the donut configuration.  Doh.
