I have what I consider to be a modest number of gadgets lying around the house. The exact number is usually in flux, depending on what I’m reviewing for CrunchGear. Nonetheless, there’s almost always something sitting in my living room plugged into an outlet to charge.

The Tow-n-Stow is a neat idea, and probably most useful if you live in the wilderness and routinely need to haul heavy stuff back to base and then store it (like firewood): It's a watertight container that holds 1,000 pounds, and tips upright to make a lockable outdoor storage unit.

Starting January 14th, Vodafone will start selling iPhone in UK. With two years contract and wireless plan that cost £35-a-month, a customer would be able to pickup an iPhone 3G for free.

Dell on Monday leapt fully into Intel's Pine Trail Atom-based platform by launching a new version of the Mini 10. The new version makes use of a 1.66GHz Atom N450 to extend its battery life past the original and, in a version with a 6-cell battery pack, can last for up to 9.5 hours on a charge.

A follow-up rumor today claims that Yelp has stepped away from an offer from Google for unknown reasons. Now thought to be worth as much as $550 million, the buyout was reported by TechCrunch to be near completion but dismissed by Yelp on the weekend.

People are becoming more and more infatuated with video recording systems that are used as spy cams. The You-Vision Glasses have a small video recorder placed in between the lenses. There is a 320 by 240 video pixel camera embedded into the frame.

I have yet to see a bad review of Avatar and a bunch of people went to see the movie too. Avatar brought in $232.2m in its opening weekend, although it could have been so much more if global warming could have helped out a bit.
