Rumors of an Apple tablet in January gained fuel again today with a rumor elaborating on the company's supposed plans. A "plugged-in" contact for SAI says Apple has been asking some developers to prepare apps that could be demonstrated on a larger handheld device next month.

talled Acer releasing its TravelMate Timeline business laptop today. Available with 13.3-, 14- and 15.6-inch display, the laptops are called TravelMate 8371, 8471 and 8571 respectively. All three Timeline laptops are powered by Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 4GB of DDR3 RAM and a 320GB HDD.

Google's semi-secret Nexus One handset has been more or less exhaustively leaked at this point, with very few cats left to let out of the bag. The only two major points left were the tech specs and the release date - and now, even those have made their way out.

According to the Mercury News, cops in San Jose will soon be wearing head-mounted video cameras to record their interaction with civilians. The devices will sit above their ears and they will be activated whenever they speak with a citizen or suspect.
