The first pre-orders for Camangi’s Webstation Android tablet have finally arrived, and over at Gear Diary they’ve been sharing some first impressions.

Hollywood made $10 billion in 2009. In better news, only 5 billion years till the sun runs out of fuel!

On the face of it, today’s story that 2009 was Hollywood’s best ever (so thanks for rewarding creativity, America), raking in some $10 billion, should be good news for a few people.

It looks like Samsung has at least two CES-bound cameras. We already saw product shots of the NX-10 and now here’s pics of the pocketable CL80. Depending on its MSRP it might be a hot cam, too. It seems nearly everything has leaked out about the CL80.

Sanyo is catering to musicians with its latest application of its Eneloop batteries, the Eneloop music booster. The device will let musicians power their amps, equalizers and other related equipment that requires an AC adapter or 9 Volt DC battery.

RoyalTek has introduced what it's saying is the first of a series of pico projectors with its RPJ-2000. It relies on a second-generation 3M LCoS chipset and can throw up images up to 65 inches in size, though only at 640x480 resolution.

Lenovo is reportedly working on an e-book reader of its own, according to a Monday report from Chinese news site Netease. The device is apparently undergoing internal testing and will be released very soon.

Brando has released its second USB 3.0 product in as many weeks with the UNITEK USB 3.0 to SATA Adapter, the Y-1034. It allows users to connect SATA or IDE hard drives to computers using a USB port and can support USB 3.0 speeds of up to 5.0Gbps.

"There's a mobile app for that" as Ford opens the interface to its Sync system. The Sync Open API lets developers create applications, or port over existing applications, for use with the Sync audio and Bluetooth system that's on more than a million Fords, Lincolns, and Mercurys.
