Looks like 2010 is turning out to be the year of the e-book reader. I’m not sure at what point these are going to stop being news, but here we go again. Insdream is launching the SX601 which seems to borrow some significant design ideas from another rather popular e-book reader.

Years ago if you were to tell a friend about micro humming bird bots I am quite certain you would be written off as a sci fi geek with an over active imagination. And perhaps that imagion is what spurred the research which led to the development of a tiny robotic hummingbird.

This concept idea shows a regular wall socket with an extension cable hidden behind. With the extension cable wound up in the wall the user can simply detach the socket front and pull the socket out further lengthening the amount of cord available.

Is the iPhone 3G on borrowed time? Well. according to a user on Germany’s apfeltalk forums it is. He recently ordered an 8GB 3G and while the item itself was what he was expecting the packaging was not. It was labeled as a 3GS. Was this a typo or did Apple mistakenly use the wrong label?

BGR found details of the Google Nexus One and how it will be sold today. The Nexus One (N1) will only be sold by Google [GOOG] direct to consumers via the web. Google, with support from T-Mobile, is scheduled to launch a new Android device in early January.

What's so hard about this, guys? I mean, obviously you can't make a controller that works with all the games out there, but if you make a good, cheap, basic one, plenty of developers will add a control option that accommodates it.

You remember OnLive, right? The service, which lets you play any game remotely on a distant server, has produced much skepticism and much interest, and is now in public beta. We got a good look at it back in March when we were at GDC, and it appears that things are much the same.
