Last week Amazon in Germany started listing the ASUS Eee 1001P available for pre-order. We now see that the ASUS 1001P is available for pre-order over at Amazon in the US at a price of $339.99. The ASUS 1001P has a 10.1 inch screen and an impressive 11 hour battery life.

Sony’s new Walkman A845 is as slim as four SD cards. That’s slim, indeed. But even at 7.2mm, it’s still beat by the anorexic iPod nano at 6.2mm. Sorry, Sony. That’s all we care about these days. We’re that shallow.
