Ken Levine is best known for having created Bioshock, one of the more cinematic and high-production-value franchises out there. So it seems a little strange at first to hear him saying that a new generation of more powerful consoles would be such a problem.

Microsoft's director of developer relations, Brandon Watson, has just revealed in a PPCGeeks podcast that Windows Phone 7 developers will soon get copy and paste functionality. The update went live on Friday and indicates a similar one for end users may be around the corner.

T-Mobile, the last bidder left in the buyout of Clearwire spectrum, is close to finalizing the deal, according to a Friday report. Two sources who wish to remain anonymous said the buy could happen as early as this winter, though T-Mobile may be holding out to get a better deal.

Japan's Kenko at the Tokyo Big Sight show is demonstrating a mocked up camera and associated lenses based on the C-mount standard. The system was made for 16mm movie camera lenses and has a 1-inch diameter. The Kenko booth had 14 such lenses on display....

Today retailer RadioShack announced their exclusive pre-sale of a new Android smartphone. The Inspire 4G will be $99 with a 2-year contract. Pre-ordering customers will receive $30 credit towards accessories on the Inspire in exchange for a $50 deposit. The phone itself launches on February 13.

AT&T refused to remain silent on Verizon's iPhone ads and today posted one of its own (below). The appropriately titled "Answer" focuses on the ability to call and use data at the same time on an HSPA phone and shows an example of where it could be useful.
