Panasonic today revealed three new Blu-ray Disc player (DMP-BD45, DMP-BD65 and DMP-BD85) for its 2010 lineup, and introduced its first-ever 3D Blu-ray Disc player, the DMP-BDT350, which coupled with a 3D HD television set and 3D glasses, gives the consumer the ultimate home 3D experience.

Vudu (of Vudu Box fame) introduced Vudu Apps today, a platform delivering hundreds of internet applications and services to HDTVs by Mitsubishi, Sanyo, Sharp, and Toshiba. Toshiba will also integrate Vudu Apps in to their line of internet-capable Blu-Ray players.

Lenovo have announced a new smartphone, the bizarrely named Lenovo Lephone.  Based on Qualcomm’s 1GHz Snapdragon processor, the Lephone has a 3.7-inch 480 x 800 touchscreen with a second touch panel underneath rather than physical controls.

Sony have raised a few eyebrows by announcing their own tablet at CES 2010, though they’re describing it as a “personal internet viewer”.  The Sony dash has a 7-inch touchscreen, integrated stereo speakers and support for the 1,000+ of chumby applications already available online.
