LG is whipping lots of new and cool gear out at CES 2010. The company has unveiled a new line of LCD monitors that use LED technology and one screen that is 3D ready. The LED screens fall into the E50 and E40 lines.

There has been talk for a while now about making use of the whitespace between TV stations that is intended to prevent interference between the stations for things like mobile broadband and others. Cambridge Consultants has unveiled its plan for using the whitespace at CES.

Samsung got a marvelous laptop shown at CES 2010. Its an unnamed transparent laptop which sport a 14 inch OLED transparent display. The display is 40 percent transparent when the laptop is off. This transparent laptop is just a prototype and not much we can tell about its other specs.

The Pioneer AVIC X920BT is an in-car satnav system designed for a double-DIN slot. It has a large 6.1 inch screen that has a resolution of 800 x 600 pixels and is touch-screen too.

Sony have launched new portable cameras called the MHS-CM5 and the MHS-PM5. The MHS-CM5 is pictured above and features a pistol grip with a swivel out 2.5 inch LCD screen. The camera is capable of HD video and has 5x optical zoom.

LG is unveiling lots of new gear at CES and it is doing it mostly without offering up any pics unfortunately. LG has announced at CES its new N+ Network monitors. The screens can work together to deliver up to 31 desktop LCD monitors on a single computer.

3M are launching a new multitouch screen that measures 22 inches and is capable of capturing input from up to 10 fingers. The screen is called the M2256PW and runs at a high-definition resolution of 1680 x 1050 pixels.

Sony didn’t leave the netbook fan in the cold at CES this year and has unveiled the Vaio W netbook that is ecosensitive. The new Vaio W has a plastic case that is made from 23% recycled CDs. The reusable carry case the machine comes with is made from recycled PET bottles.

Sony has a slew of notebooks in its line and the company is beefing up its offerings with the debut of some new models at CES. Among the new notebooks debuting at the show are the Vaio Z and Vaio F series machines. The Vaio Z is a very cool little ultraportable with a carbon fiber chassis.

HP Slate, a new Windows 7 tablet pc from HP is introduced at CES by Steve Ballmer. HP Slate is mentioned to be available later this year. On the introduction, Slate running PC Kindle application on top of Windows 7.

Currently when you buy one of the new Google [GOOG] phones, AKA the Google Nexus One, you sign up for a contract on the T-Mobile network if you are in the US. Google are about to launch the Nexus One in Europe in the next few weeks and it will be going to the UK first on the Vodafone network.

3M has showcased their new multitouch LCD display during this week’s CES called the 3M Display M2256PW. This 22-inch monitor makes use of 3M’s Projected Capacitive Technology allowing it to support 10-finger multitouch input and advanced gesture capability with very fast response time.
