Nintendo and Netflix today said they had struck a deal to bring Netflix' Watch Instantly streaming service to the Wii. The service will initially work much like that for the PS3 and will need a special disc to enable Internet video.

LG today outlined a mobile strategy that marks a reversal of its approach from 2009. The Korean company expects to ship about 20 smartphones in 2010 but says that "more than half" of the smartphones it ships will run Android, such as the GT540 Electronista tried at CES.

An application was recently submitted to Apple that will bring satellite navigation to the Apple [AAPL] iPod Touch and iPhone 2G. The navigation software is called Navmii and provides turn-by-turn navigation to each of the said devices. To get GPS co-ordinates a new system called G-Fi is used.
