It can be very difficult to teach kids how to save money. I can’t count the times my kids have been in a store wanting to spend their allowance and wanted something that was more expensive than what they had the money to buy.

As promised, Vodafone have become the latest UK carrier to offer the iPhone 3GS and iPhone 3G.  The carrier has begun selling the Apple smartphone today, with the 16GB version of the handset available from free on two-year contracts of £45 ($73) per month upward.

USB 3.0 gear was everywhere at CES last week with all sorts of gear using the new and much faster interface. USB 3.0 hardware may be getting unveiled in droves, but computers and computer hardware to support the specification are still rather limited.

I have used consumer earphones from Ultimate Ears before and found them to be very good. The headphones I used from the company had great bass and sound quality. I bet the companies custom monitors for professional musicians would sound even better.

AMD this morning added its first DirectX 11- and OpenGL 3.2-capable desktop graphics card below the $100 mark. The ATI Radeon HD 5670 sits just above the 4670 and primarily improves on its predecessor's performance by including more stream (visual) processors at 400 versus 320.
