I noticed the fellas from PoketyPoke each carrying around an iMac box after the Digital Experience event at CES last week. “Wow, you guys really went all out,” said I. “Yeah,” said they, “Did you know you can rent an iMac for two weeks for $120?” I had not heard of this, no sir.

December saw record sales for the video game industry, according to analyst group NPD. It was in fact the biggest sales month to date, or at least as long as NPD has been keeping such stats. The record was a welcome change to the industry, which has otherwise suffered sales declines.

A Cowon app, jetAudio, has revealed some specs of an upcoming portable media player recently. The Cowon J3, the graphic for which was leaked a few weeks ago and is seen here, is expected to sport an ultra-efficient 3.3-inch AMOLED display with a 480x272 resolution.
