Hitachi Japan rolls out 11 new plasma and LCD TVs

Last week it was Sony, and today it was Hitachi announcing [JP] a flood of new flat-screen TVs for the Japanese market. Hitachi does sell TVs outside this country, too, so chances are the four plasmas and seven LCDs find their way into other markets as well.

Sony Japan has debuted a new series of LCD TV that comes equipped with a built-in hard disk drive. The new Sony BRAVIA BX series supports a 100,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, CCFL back-lighting, a 720p HD resolution, a 24p True Cinema, BRAVIA Engine 2, BRAVIA Sync and a 500GB of hard disk drive.
