Toshiba Storage Device Division has introduced its MKxx39GS series 1.8-inch spinning platter drives with SATA connectors. This gives the drives a 10 percent smaller footprint when compared to standard 1.8-inch drives, allowing the drive to be used in a wider range of applications.
