A teardown of iTunes' code has given strong hints that Apple already has support for Qualcomm cellular chipsets in its software. AMSS.mbn and partition.mbn files found in the decompile are both unique to Qualcomm's baseband hardware and reportedly a telltale sign that they're being used.
