Sony Optiarc today said its internal half-height Blu-ray drives, the BWU-500S (retail) and BD-5300S (OEM) are coming to the US. The SATA internal drives can record up to 50GB of data on BD-R and BD-RE discs, or up to 220 minutes of high-definition video.
