Hitachi has unveiled the Hitachi Ultrastar C10K600 Enterprise HDD, which is claimed as the industry’s fastest and most power-efficient 10,000 rpm enterprise class HDD. Available in up to 600GB of storage space, the 2.5-inch drive drive spins at 10,000rpm and uses the 6Gb/s SAS interface.
